Welcome to the new BSS Computing Website

The new BSS Computing is built within Drupal, an Open Source Content Management System.  Well, what does that mean?  A Content Management System helps units to better coordinate content they need to get to their users through their website.  Web authoring is no longer needed and takes place through a forms-based interface.  Multiple staff can edit content for different areas.  Content is stored in a database making it easier to categorize and thus easier for users to find. Web pages are built on templates that can be made consistent for browser compatibility and accessibility.  Because it's Open Source, the software is free and we can benefit from improvements added from a large group of distributed programmers.
